EGSEL: A community of scholars … and a family. At EGSEL, we are deeply devoted to our research, often working long hours, but the opportunities for growth are incredible. Intellectually, we benefit from engaging courses, stimulating weekly research meetings, and continuous discussions about research challenges among ourselves and with our PI. We have built an elegant laboratory and make extensive use of the excellent shared facilities on campus. Personally, we have formed a highly collegial group of friends, always ready to support each other without hesitation.
